The Truth about Fireworks Permits in
Wisconsin!Until 2007 the
legal mess in acquiring a REAL VALID LEGAL PERMIT in
this state was awful.
The new changes in WI State Law will help citizens
legally Purchase - Transport and Discharge consumer
class 1.4G fireworks. This is what our resident pyro's
have been waiting for. But don't get too
excited yet! Does your town issue permits? Talk to your local board
members and see if the town has an ordinance. If it does
and it was drafted before 2007 it is out of date and
does not conform with newly changed provisions in WI
State Law. If you think you are going to start this
process in June and then have a permit in July think
again! Contact your officials NOW! The process of the City
Gov to write an ordinance and then draft a permit may
take some time!
Out of state buyers do not need a permit to
purchase!
